This policy describes what Home Reset ("we") collects when you use this site, and what we do with it. The short version: your quiz answers stay on your device, we ask for your email to deliver your plan, payments are handled by our payment processor, and we use standard advertising analytics.
What we collect
- Quiz answers. Your answers are stored in your browser's local storage on your device so we can build and display your plan. They are not transmitted to our servers as part of taking the quiz.
- Email address. Collected at the end of the quiz to deliver your plan and send related emails. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
- Purchase information. Payments are processed by Stripe as merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the checkout.
- Usage and advertising data. We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure whether our advertising works. These may process your IP address, browser information, pages visited and, if you complete the quiz, a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your email. We do not send your quiz answers to Meta.
What we do with it
- Build and deliver your personalized plan.
- Send you your plan and, if you opt in, occasional related tips.
- Measure and improve our advertising.
- Process refunds and support requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named above, as needed to run the product.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Meta Pixel uses cookies and similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalized Meta ads in your Meta ad preferences.
Data retention and deletion
Quiz answers live in your browser and are deleted when you clear your browser storage. To have your email and any associated records deleted, contact us at the address below and we will action it within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
